Nawfal Daou escapes a mafia-like assassination attempt in the Bekaa

Gunmen heavily shot at the car of the member of the General Secretariat of the "14 March" journalist Nawfal Daou at the 11th hour before noon today at a crossroads of "El-Tibeh" town in the Bekaa. Shooting led to the damage of the car's tires, Daou succeeded in escaping after the attempt of the militants to get him down of the car.

Internal Security Forces and the Division of Information and Intelligence Directorate in the Bekaa came to the accident place and initiated investigations.
