Statement - 8 August 1978

Under the heading "the story of the war in Lebanon", The commander of the GoC held a press conference on the 8th of August, 1978 which included number of local and foreign reporters, in which he exposed the Syrian plan to occupy Lebanon. He also called for the international consciousness and humanity in general to save Lebanon from the the Syrian wolf who came to us pretending and clothed as a harmless lamb...
